Is your website a well thought-out masterpiece?
…or are you sort of hoping no one visits it?
A lot of business owners know that their website isn’t great, but they don’t know how to make it better.
Is it a structure, language or design issue?
Typically, it’s all three. There are definitely ways to structure, language and design your website so that what you have to say lands better with your target audience.
But behind structure, language and design is often a bigger issue, which is that you’re not entirely clear about what your message is or what, exactly, you’re offering.
I design and build websites for consultants and creatives, and a lot of that work isn’t in designing or building at all - it’s in helping those people understand and articulate who they are, what they’re bringing to the world, and the problems they solve.
Once we get that clarity for you, then improving your website becomes a cinch.
let’s spruce your moose.*
*I mean, website.
A website content audit is a 2 hour, one-to-one session where I will tell you (lovingly but directly) how you could make your website better.
Here’s how it works!
You book in a 2 hour Website Content Audit session with me via Calendly. This session takes place via Zoom.
I will comprehensively review your website before our meeting.
During our meeting we will go through your website, line by line, and I will make recommendations about:
How to structure it more effectively (at a navigation level and at a page level) for your target audience;
How to change the language or the perspective so that it lands more easily with your target audience; and
Design changes you could make that would enable the information to be understood and digested more easily.
I take thorough notes of my recommendations during this meeting, and will send that report through at the end of it. You can then action these changes yourself, or get someone else too. If your website is in Squarespace 7.1 (and you’d rather me do this instead of providing you with a report), I can make the edits to your site in real time during our meeting.
